All ABC yarns are manufactured with polypropylene, which with a specific gravity of 0.91, provides maximum yield. When you combine the lightweight material with a process called fibrillation, you get a low specific gravity yarn that will knit or weave a high-yield fabric, which will result in more profits for your company. In addition, polypropylene colorfastness is rated as excellent, it resists stains and will not absorb liquids and is not affected by bleach or other cleaning chemicals.
