As a fully integrated manufacturer of polyethylene blown film, ABC Polymer Industries manufactures a variety of polyethylene products used in the explosives industry. We have nine machines with extrusion capabilities ranging from a 3 diameter (4 Layflat width) to a 18 diameter (28 Layflat width). Products are manufactured and sold utilizing, depending on customer preference, virgin resin and our own reprocessed resin. Our polyethylene product line for explosives applications include rolls of polyethylene material and also customized polyethylene bags.
Applications
Polyethylene holeliner material and customized polyethylene bags are used to line blastholes that might be subjected to water or that might have crevices which would prevent an even or efficient distribution of the blasting agents.
Conversion Capabilities
ABC Polymer Industries has the ability to convert film with its Bag Machines and also to produce customized products.
Resin
ABC Polymers utilizes both virgin resin and its own reprocessed resin. The materials used to fill orders are based on customer preference with reprocessed resin being used based on customer preference and availability. The reprocessed resin can afford a customer to receive a price break due to lower raw material cost without compromising quality.
