All ABC Monofilament Fibers are manufactured from 100% virgin polypropylene and are available in lengths ranging from 1/4” to over 2”. ABC Fibers offers a wide choice of deniers, ranging from 6 denier to over 10,000 denier. Like ABC Fibrillated Fibers, ABC Monofilament Fibers are also coated with a special low foam finish that prevents balling, promotes dispersion of the fibers in the concrete, and minimizes the unwanted air-entrainment that often accompanies inferior fibers.

Manufacturing Process
Monofilament fibers are manufactured by extruding thousands of individual round fibers through a die, then coating them with a special finish. The fiber is then heated, drawn and relaxed, then it is cut to the necessary length.
